I first saw this beautiful crockery on Instagram @tactilematter and I just couldn’t deal. Good crockery is my weakness. Clay crockery sends me over the edge. This just makes me want to be a home maker who bakes bread, makes ice tea, produces compost, takes pottery classes and takes her denim clad children everywhere in an top bakkie. It’s so beautiful, so sincere eish and so expensive. The girl who makes them is a Los Angeles based illustrator and designer Kenesha Sneed and her company is called Tactile Matter. After seeing these, I emailed my friend Ashley asking if she would like to join me in trying out a new hobby, making pottery. Of course, she said yes. These would make beautiful gifts.
